This listing is specifically only to purchase a sample pair of both a (1) Flat and (1) Raised test cap. This will help determine if you need to purchase our full Floating conversion kit with Flat or Raised housings. You must measure the front center cap bore opening of your wheel to select the correct size.

***If you purchase this test cap pair, after you place an order for the full conversion kit, we will issue a $5 refund from this purchase of the item cost (shipping payment will not be refunded). You will not be required to send back the original test caps. These are FINAL sale and not valid for returns or cancellations. We will only issue a $5 refund per full kit purchase. (IE: If you choose to purchase more than 1 size due to uncertainty of the size of your bore, we will only issue a $5 refund if purchasing a single full conversion kit. If you purchase 2 test kits, then purchase 2 full conversion kits at a later date, you will receive a $10 refund).

There are many different variables including disk size, hub depth, spacers, axle nuts, axles, etc. Most applications will utilize the flat caps if there’s no axle nuts/axle ends, or if the wheel is medium or high disk, or if you’re running spacers. Other applications will utilize the raised caps if the wheel is low disk or if your axle end/axle nut sticks further into the bore of the wheel. Some applications may require both spacers and raised caps in order to run our floating conversion kit. Install both caps to check which of the two will work best with your application.

Flat - Center cap housing sits against face of wheel with the emblem approximately 4mm away from face. Your axle end/axle nut must be at least 10mm recessed from edge of center cap bore lip at the face. For more clearance, it would be required to run a small spacer.

Raised - Center cap housing protrudes the emblem approximately 14mm away from the face, allowing more clearance for axle ends/axle nuts. Your axle end/axle nut must be no more than 5mm poking out from edge of center cap bore lip at the face. For more clearance, it would be required to run a small spacer.
